Patrick Star is one of the main characters and is the dim-witted best friend to SpongeBob SquarePants. Patrick is a pink starfish who is almost always lazy in some episodes. He is the deuteragonist of the series.
Information
In Patrick's first appearance "Help Wanted", he helped SpongeBob get his job at the Krusty Krab. Patrick is shown to have gotten much dumber in the newer episodes then some of the old appearances he was in. Patrick even had Gary as a pet but it turned out that Gary just wanted the cookie that was in his pocket. Also his pet rock Rocky won the snail race even though he was just a rock in the episode "The Great Snail Race."

Physical appearance
Patrick is a pink starfish with red dots and green pants with purple Hawaiian flowers on it. He also wears no shoes or socks, unlike how SpongeBob does.
